Book
Book
This is the introduction text shown on the Booking page. It appears before the customer begins choosing an appointment and can be used to explain anything they need to know before starting the booking process. A real business might use this section to tell customers how online booking works, what information they will need to provide, whether they must create an account or enter a verification code, and what happens after the booking is submitted. It can also explain whether the booking is confirmed immediately or whether the business needs to review it first. For training purposes, this example is intentionally long so we can see how the Booking page behaves when the introduction uses a large proportion of the available character allowance. This allows us to check spacing and make sure the booking controls remain clear even when there is more explanatory text above them. The business may also include important booking conditions here. Examples could include deposits, cancellation notice, late arrival policies, consultation requirements, patch tests, minimum ages, accessibility information, travel arrangements, or instructions for first-time customers. Where possible, the most important instructions should appear near the beginning. Customers arriving on a Booking page generally want to make an appointment, so the introduction should help them rather than create unnecessary obstacles. Information that only applies to one particular service is usually better placed in that service's own description. This section can also reassure customers about what happens next. For example, it might explain that they will receive an email or text confirmation, that reminders may be sent before the appointment, or that they can contact the business if they make a mistake while booking.
